Can I take multiple formulations at the same time?

Your gut is unique, and its tolerance is unique too. While it is possible to take multiple formulations at the same time, it is important to gauge how you feel. Some individuals need a higher dosage to feel any noticeable differences, while others are more sensitive and require much lower doses.

What are the potential side effects?

Potential side effects are symptoms associated with die-off, constipation, diarrhea, or discomfort during the first 2-3 weeks of adjusting to a new probiotic. These symptoms could be mild and tolerable for some cases and subside after 2-3 weeks. Some people are unable to tolerate a higher dose and we recommend taking a fewer number of formulations at a time.

How can I cancel my subscription? Can I cancel at any time?

Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. However, you must reach out to cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal is scheduled to be processed. You can cancel through your billing account or by emailing customerservice@sungenomics.com.

How do I manage my subscription?

You can manage your subscription (including pushing out your next renewal or canceling) by clicking on Billing >. Log into your account using your email and password. If this is your first time trying to manage your account, you will need to create a new account.

How do I update my shipping and/or billing information?

You should update your subscription shipping information at flore.com/account. If you receive custom probiotics, you also need to update on the portal at portal.flore.com.

What if my package is damaged or missing?

Contact us at customerservice@sungenomics.com for support with lost or damaged packages.

What is your returns & refund policy?

Only unopened test kits are able to be refunded and returned. No refunds are given on probiotics due to the nature of the product.

How do I store my probiotics?

We suggest your formulation to be stored at 4°C or 20°F-25°F in the refrigerator. If stored in the fridge, your formulation will last up to one year. If stored at room temperature, your formulation will last up to one month.

What if my child or I am unable to swallow pills?

You may open the pill and mix the powder with a beverage of choice or soft food. For adults, there will be higher efficacy in the capsule form.

Die-off occurs when the microbiome environment becomes less-hospitable to the microorganisms that used to live there. Your normal flora population is reduced resulting in a temporary worsening of symptoms due to the dying of multiple microorganisms at once.

When should I take my probiotics?

These formulations can be taken anytime, but we suggest taking one pill every morning at least 20 minutes before breakfast. We recommend taking a pill with water.

When will I see/feel results?

All customers are different in how they plan to manage their microbiome. Some customers feel a difference in as short a time frame as the first week of low dose. Others may have to wait 3 weeks to feel a difference.

Prebiotics are beneficial non-digestible food ingredients. They include human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs) in breastmilk, fibers in plant foods (FOS, GOS, XOS, inulin), and polyphenols in fruit.

According to the International Scientific Association for Probiotics and Prebiotics (ISAPP), probiotics are 'live microorganisms that, when administered in adequate amounts, confer a health benefit on the host.'

What sequencing method does your partner lab use?

Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) (or Next Generation Sequencing [NGS]) gives us the highest resolution picture of your gut microbiome, helping us to not only identify the microbes present in your microbiome down to the species and strain level, but also see their relative abundances compared to each other.

Will medications, supplements, or probiotics affect test results? Should I stop taking them before providing a sample?

You do not need to change your current routine. In fact, we prefer you continue your current supplement regimen. However, please wait at least 14 days after finishing any antibiotics and do not consume alcohol for 24 hours before testing.
