What the neurobiome is, and what each test looks at
The neurobiome
Your gut and your brain are in constant contact. That link is the gut–brain axis: nerves, immune signals, and compounds your gut bacteria make, including GABA and building blocks for serotonin. The neurobiome is the part of your microbiome that takes part in that conversation.
The microbiome test
You collect a small stool sample at home. NirvanaBiome, a CLIA-certified partner lab, sequences it. The report shows which bacteria live in your gut and in what proportions. Flore analyzes that report and adds the neurobiome context.
The MDM urine panel
You collect a urine sample at home and mail it to ADL Labs, who process it. MDM stands for Microbially Derived Metabolites: compounds your gut microbes produce. The microbiome test shows which organisms are there. The MDM panel shows what they’re doing. Two tests, one picture of your gut.
From results to formula
We match your microbiome results against 10 years of paired microbiome and outcome data, then build your probiotics and prebiotics to fit. Flore makes the formula, in capsules or powder, and ships it to you.

- The kits ship separately to your address. Collect each sample at home and send it back in its prepaid mailer.

What happens after the last payment?
It ends. The 6-month program is 6 payments of $183 and the 3-month program is 3 payments of $277. After the last one, there are no more charges. If you want to keep going, you choose a new program then.
Paying in full or monthly: what’s the difference?
Same program, same tests, same probiotics. Pay $1,097 once, or 6 payments of $183 ($1,098 total). For 3 months, $830 once or 3 payments of $277 ($831 total). Monthly payments round to whole dollars, so they come to $1 more.
Why two tests?
They look at your gut from two sides. The microbiome test shows which organisms live there. The MDM urine panel measures metabolites those microbes produce, so you see what your microbiome is doing. Your probiotics are formulated from your microbiome results; your MDM panel adds a second view of what your gut is producing.

Will these tests tell me if I have a medical condition?
No. The results are used to build your probiotics. They are not a medical workup. For any health concern, talk with your doctor.
What does “additional gut-brain interventions” mean?
With your neurobiome data on file, you can add Flore neurobiotics and other gut-brain options to your formula where they fit your results.
